Hi, I'm Hannah from England! I grew up in south England, then moved to Sheffield to study Psychology at University. However since university I have not really done any Psychology! I've spent the last two winters in the living and working (in a chalet) in the French Alps, which I loved, as the opportunity to ski almost everyday really is a privilege. Last summer I went to Rio to volunteer at the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and this summer I'm off to California to work at a summer camp (for the second time). I'm really enjoying combining work and travel, and have no plans to stop this lifestyle soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy visiting new places, but one of the best parts of the experience for me is an opportunity to meet people who live locally! I love chatting to new people and hearing their stories and opinions on the world.

Interests

I love being outdoors, whether that's cycling, running, hiking, skiing, camping - you name it. I especially enjoy swimming and when based at home (UK) I coach at my local swimming club.
Another aspect of sport that I really love is volunteering at sports events. I have been lucky enough to experience a number of international ones; including the London 2012 Paralympics, Rio 2016 Olympics and Paralympics and World Triathlon Series in London and Chicago to name a few. My possible list of next events to volunteer at Winter Olympics South Korea in 2018, World Triathlon Series Rotterdam 2017 and Commonwealth Games Gold Coast 2018!
