After working in London for a few years in the bizarrely different fields of financial and environmental consulting, I'm taking time out to travel around Canada and North America. I'm new to couchsurfing but hoping very much to make it a part of my journey.

Travel, adventures, jazz music, piano playing, sustainability and sustainable travel, learning from other cultures, stories... trying to learn French.

Movies - at the moment movies in French (it might help me learn)
Books - fiction translated into English from another language, anything non-fiction and readable.

I am interested in all learning opportunities - specific focuses include learning French and photography skills. Always interested to hear of local approaches to sustainability.
Hopefully I can give something back, perhaps lessons on the piano if you have one! Or perhaps I can try help you work out your carbon footprint.
