Just moved to Gaborone for work. Keen to find out more to this charming dusty city.
Emerson said it best.
"To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Im happy to show you around town, coffee, kebab etc.
I am new -ish to this formal CS network, but have had many a random on my couches.
So far I have met some really great and like minded folk who I am sure I will have life long contact with. They have not only given me couches, but cups of tea, directions, jobs, shoes, but mostly excellent conversation - which is my favorite currency!
Basically, I like talking to people.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The ordinary and the extraordinary are happy bedfellows here and I would like to think that I come across them on a daily basis.
If i meet you I'll trade you a tale
