ABOUT ME

I'm a down to earth mid westerner, traveling through New Zealand hiking, WWOOFing, and enjoying the amazing scenery. I'm a tidy person, and love meeting people from different cultures. Always down for a cold beer and good conversation!

PHILOSOPHY

I have a hard time understanding religious discrimination. I feel like we're all doing the best we can and are all trying to do 'good', so it shouldn't matter whether you praise Allah, God, Ra, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I like to do the best I can at whatever I'm doing, otherwise it feels like a waste of time!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couch surfing with a friend for the past two months on the South Island and have met amazing people. I decided I definitely needed to create my own account!

MOVIES: Monty python and the holy grail, the goonies, any Harry potter/ LOTR... Last movie I saw was silver linings playbook

MUSIC: classic 70s (Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, CCR), James Taylor, Damien rice, missy Higgins, Xavier Rudd, Sean Hayes... Open minded with music, but really bad at identifying bands and artists

BOOKS: Divergent series, Dan brown books, Jodi picoult books, great gatsby, Harry potter series, hunger games series, the perks of being a wallflower, the girl with the dragon tattoo
