About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting people who inspire me. Who are doing their bit for the world and have ideas to share.

ABOUT ME

I am currently living and studying on a year abroad in Hong Kong. Apart from exploring this incredible, varied, bustling city, I am taking the opportunity to travel around east Asia as much a possible. I love learning about people's lives around the world, travelling for good food, and seeking out mind-blowing landscapes. Seeing the daily life in a new place is enough for me too sometimes.

If a host can/would like to show me around, go cycling/hiking/yoga, cook together, eat together, that's great. If you're busy, that's fine too! I'm very flexible and don't want to disrupt the lives of my hosts, but rather add something if I can. I like to couch surf because it leads to places I wouldn't otherwise find.

PHILOSOPHY

An open mind can only make life infinitely better. If everyone opened their minds, the world would be better already.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed a few hosts in Sweden, all welcoming in their own ways, all with good chats, and all whom made such a positive difference to my travels. I look forward to welcoming surfers to my home once I've got one of my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just new here. A few surfs so far. To make up for my lack of CS experience and therefore lack of reviews, please ask me any questions you may have.

Interests

Travelling, good food, music (jazz, funk, soul, hiphop, acoustic, reggae, classical, opera - the works), dancing , hiking... and yoga has recently become a necessity. Cycling, hiking, fresh-water swimming.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked through the Himalayas for 3 days, passing through remote villages, sleeping in farm houses, feeling like an ant among the massive plains, befriending my hero of a sherpa, miraculously limping the last 2 hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess what I teach is different for everyone. You learn what you connect to best. I could teach people to cook, improve their English…

Learn about different lifestyles and cultures from every different walk of life. Learn another language. If you speak French, please speak to me in French, not English!

Share travel stories and foodie experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you. Food is a universal language.
