ABOUT ME

I am 20 years old and studying Public and Interpersonal Communications at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. I can be a bit quiet at times, but I open up easily and really love talking to people from all different backgrounds. I also love to travel, and thus have been loving my study abroad experience in Bilbao, Spain.

PHILOSOPHY

An entire life philosophy is a bit tough to write in a short blurb, but I always try to take time to appreciate the once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that life presents me, and have learned that sometimes happiness is reached by going outside of your comfort zone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently live in a small apartment in Bilbao, Spain, and do not have much room to host. However, I am more than happy to offer any assistance possible to any travelers to the Bilbao area!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am entirely new to couchsurfing, but am looking forward to gaining as much experience as possible as soon as possible! I guess the closest thing I can say is that I have friends and relatives who have couchsurfed before, so I have a general idea of what to expect.

I'm definitely more of an artsy person than anything. I am personally god awful at art, but I am very passionate about other people's works in film, television, art, literature, and music. I am even a DJ at my university's radio station in Raleigh!

I am a huge comedy nerd. Bill Murray and Steve Martin are two of my most favorite people in the world. I also love the works of directors Wes Anderson, David Fincher, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Quentin Tarantino.
As far as music goes, I have a wide variety of favorites. In a day I can listen to Loretta Lynn to Sam Cooke to the Kinks to Daft Punk.
I also actually like Shakespeare and poetry. Hemingway is also on my list of favorite people ever.
