About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to cultivate an environment that supports individual creative freedom and expression through working together as a community of healers, artists, philosophers, activists, environmentalists, teachers and students, sharing a passion for peace.
ABOUT ME
My life is a constant ebb and flow between search and surrender. Finding God, or enlightenment, or bliss had always been a fight to touch something outside of myself; to fill a gap within me with something that was separate from me. I am only now beginning to realize the subtle grace of surrendering to uncertainty, and trusting that there is an internal abundance of answers.
Ummm, I'm not really sure what else to write.
PHILOSOPHY
Far from fully developed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, I'm just desperate for a place to stay for a bit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've lived on a back porch, a shed, a tent, the ground... Other than that, I don't really have any couch surfing experience per se.
Interests
I love to do YOGA, dance, search for tidbits of meaning in life, snuggle, meditate on peace, observe the little things, create, drink tea... lots and lots of tea, climb mountains, cook, paint, delight in the richness of silence. I'm fascinated by the golden ratio, the complexity of life on earth, the mechanics of the human psyche, the nature of forgiveness, are we all living in an illusion? LOVE and whether or not it exists objectively.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've done would actually seem pretty simple to other people perhaps. But I felt so amazing when I got to teach a yoga class for a group of teenagers in extremely impoverished living situations, through a program that sought to educate them on sexual health. They were such incredible human beings, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach yoga! I love to share good food, art, books, conversation, music. I would like to learn how to play the harmonium, how to break dance, capoeira, herbs, alternative energy, rafting.
