ABOUT ME

I'm 22 years old and a student of German language and Literature. I live and study in Tübingen, in the south-west of Germany. I grew up near Hamburg but I have also lived in France, Northern Ireland and Poland.

If I stay somewhere for too long, I get bored.

I'd describe myself as friendly, curious to learn new things and compatible with most situations - but then who wouldn't?
Friends have described me as a bit direct and slightly crazy (as in random and spontaneous).

Mostly travelling, I haven't hosted yet. But now my living situation has changed and I can finally host people!

Interests

I obviously like travelling, meeting new people and learning new things, like anyone here! Nothing better than a spontaneous trip somewhere near or far away!
But when I'm not out and about, I also enjoy the quiet life, a good book, a nice meal, a walk or a trip to the pub with my friends.

Movies: All about Eve, Ed Wood, BBC costume dramas... I also watch way too much of those American series and I love Doctor Who
Books: Auster, Wilde, Austen & the Brontës, the Hichhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, dystopian novels, the occasional Whodunnit (like Fred Vargas), Kafka, Frisch, Harry Potter...
Music: The Clash, The Doors, Bright Eyes, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, The Smiths... Pretty old school :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went from Moscow to Beijing on the train, lived with 80 dogs in the backyard, read Kafka.
