My personal philosophy is to live every day working toward something greater than myself. If I can wake up and set my heart on a higher goal then I have accomplished something.

Interests

My priorities are coffee, exploring and dancing. All other interests fall strategically under these categories including good conversations, enjoying music and dancing to it, traveling and eating amazing food.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz/swing, latin/salsa, and hip hop/rap music (an odd assortment, I know).

Comedy movies are my favorite (Zoolander especially).

My favorite authors currently are Salmon Rushdie, C.S. Lewis, and Emily Bronte.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent three weeks working in a shanty-town in Cape Town, South Africa. A life-changing experience.

Worked as an au pair in Valencia, Spain for 2 months.
