Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Initially, I joined Couchsurfing with my ex-wife out of curiousity and in hopes that we'd have a last resort if traveling somewhere our friends couldn't host us.

However, after hosting and being hosted by many wonderful people, Couchsurfing has become a very favorite part of my life. I've met exceptionally awesome people and even made some (hopefully) long-term friends. Through one night's stay and the ensuing conversations, I've made some better connections with people than I have with many long-time friends. There's something so beautiful and vulnerable and welcoming about opening one's home to a stranger... it creates space for a beautiful relationship to blossom in a short amount of time. I absolutely cherish these experiences so far and am really looking forward to hosting and staying with more wonderful folks!
