ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly person who enjoys exploring new place and meeting new people. I did my masters at Otago university but always wanted to travel. I will likely go back to study (but maybe not) but I need to see what is out there first. I consider myself to be a shy person and yet all the people I have stayed with haven't thought that about me so maybe this experience is changing me, in good way.

I'm dyslexic, and while I don't use it as an excuse, I try my best to make sure all request I send out are while written but because I can't always see the mistakes I make in writing, I can't always fix them. Please don't judge me by my writing, instead if you see a really funny mistake that I have made please let me know as I'm sure it will be just as funny to me as well and it helps me learn.

I turned to Couchsurfing a few weeks into my trip by accident more than anything else. A friend back home in New Zealand had set me up to stay at various friend of his in the USA and I really enjoyed it as a form of meeting people, I turned to the Couchsurfing website when I ran out of friends of friends in places that I wanted to visit so that I could continue this enjoyable form of Travel.

I have loved the Couchsurfing experience and enjoy being able to share my life and stories with other people.

Huge fan of the food truck culture and exploring the world. I enjoy setting out in the morning to find new things. Interest include, Astronomy, Space flight, Craft beer, and sport.

Music, I'm pretty open to anything, been listening to a lot of podcast while traveling to allow the long bus and train trips to pass. I've also been reading a lot while travelling and am half way though the Harry Potter Series.
