I am 26 years old and originally from Sweden. I have spent the last 3 and a half months travelling south east asia with my partner james who is 29 and originally from England. We are both outgoing, positive and friendly individuals who love to meet new people and experience new cultures.

James has previously lived in New Zealand and i have travelled the country a couple of years ago. We now have the opportunity to move back to New Zealand.

We are on couch surfing initially because it is an affordable way to spend time in new places. It also gives us a great chance to meet local people who can share their knowledge of the area and gives us an overall experience the average tourist would never have.

I myself have couch surfed before in Australia and loved the experience. It is definitely something I would want to pursue once we are settled ourselves.
