I am a warm person who is very open minded and adventurous! I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. I am an elementary special education teacher durIng the school year but am on a year long travel journey. I enjoy dancing, music, art, hiking, biking, snowboarding, camping, crocheting, and baking. I believe in expanding my family through connections all over the world. I am easy going and helpful! Look forward to meetig you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first experience CouchSurfing, however, I have hosted CouchSurfers many times at my home in Seattle. I always enjoy meeting new people from all over the world and showing them the beautiful, rainy city of Seattle. I hope to meet new friends during my travels and get off the beaten trail to get an authentic feeling for the country.

Intereses

I am one of those people who could never be bored and can't relate to people who get bored easily.
I have many hobbies and interests...
I've done ballet and modern dance since I was young, performing and teaching. I am the baker in my community and love to bake cakes, cookies, pies, scones, and any other sweets. I enjoy being outdoors, whether it's hiking, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snorkeling, rock climbing, sailing, etc. I am interested in creating things... artistically. I love to knit, crochet, paint, craft, sew, and create works of art out of ordinary items. Of course, I am interested in traveling. I constantly have the "travel bug" and am looking at where to go next. My dream is to teach abroad throughout my life and it is starting now.

Algo increíble que he hecho

The most amazing thing I have seen is a pod of 14 orca whales within 10 feet of me in a little boat in prince William sound in Alaska one Summer. They swam as if they were in a choreographed dance.
