Overview
About Me
With my blonde hair, blue eyes, passion for cross-country skiing and hiking in the mountains, I’m your typical Norwegian stereotype. I grew up in a central part Oslo, the capital of the country, with my mother. I finished high school two years ago, and spent 18 months in the Norwegian Navy as an NGO-officer, where I instructed newly arrived recruits in the use of weapon and combat medicine. I discharged in December last year, and I’ve up until now worked in debt collection. I’m a social introvert who loves my alone time, but also enjoys to get to know new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am moving to Brussels because I’ve been accepted to the bachelors’ degree in Business Economics at VUB. I haven’t succeeded in finding a place to live yet, so I figured I would start out my stay living one someone’s couch the first week, rather than booking a hotel or an Airbnb-apartment. I consider this to be an amazing opportunity to get a feeling of how the Belgians live, and to get to know local places and activities to see and do.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of music, but nothing beats Anthony Hamilton and Nina Simone. My favourite movie is “Schindler’s list,” and favourite book is a Norwegian classic called “Albertine.”
