About Me
ABOUT ME
I am an art historian living and working in Oslo. This summer (2012) it will be two years since i finished my MA thesis at UiO. I work freelance, and currently I am doing a project for the city of Oslo involving photography workshops and school children. Boring, you may be thinking, introducing myself with my occupation - but... my job is also my hobby to a grate extent, and when I traveling, it is usually to see an exhibition, a museum and experience the local culture and cuisine.
I have a small garden (parsell), that I share with a friend. I share a flat with another friend, her girlfriend, their dog and my boyfriend - so I do believe my friends would say I am a socially intelligent person.
PHILOSOPHY
I strongly relate to these two quotes, and they pretty much sums it up:
The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.
- Dolly Parton
I'm not interested in writing short stories. Anything that doesn't take years of your life and drive you to suicide hardly seems worth doing. - Cormac McCarthy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
There is little room in our flat to host at the moment, so hosting is not an option. But if you would like to grab a coffee, se an exhibition, our get the locals view in the dos and don'ts of Oslo... i can be helpful!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined in sept. 2010, but haven´t really been active. Until... the gallery I work for was in Hong Kong this may, and our intern from the Philippines reminded me of the possibilities of the CS concept.
Interests
Photography, contemporary art, music (garage rock, indie, jazz and anything else that convinces) cooking, growing things in the garden.
Spending time with family and friends, doing any of the above, is my favorite pastime!
