Overview
About Me
Hey, I’m Hannes. I’m an open-minded and enthusiastic guy from Germany excited to gain new experiences and to meet interesting people. I just won an Interrail Ticket and so I will take the opportunity to visit Switzerland, France, Spain, the UK and Ireland.
In the last months I were working as a lifeguard at a sea near to my city and as a swim teacher for my local swim club.At the same time I were political active in my hometown, where I had to stand up against racism and fascism.
In school I wrote a scientific report about Laughter Yoga, while I was working on it I became a certified Laughter Yoga Trainer. Scince then I try to laugh as often as possible! If you have any questions concerning this special kind of Yoga. I would be glad to answer them!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to do Couch-Surfing because I want to get in touch with the cities I’m visiting and the best thing to do so is to meet locals. It is a great opportunity for discovering new cultures and creating interesting friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books
My all-time favourite band will always be Queen. However the song I like the most is "Could Have Been Me" by The Struts. But at the moment I’m also listening to a lot of indie rock bands, german and spanish punk bands like Milliarden or Titeres.
I’m a huge fan of the Star Wars franchise. I also like diverse kinds ofTVseries like Californication, Rick and Morty and of course Game of Thrones, even though the last seasons left me a little bit upset... At the moment I just read newspapers and no books
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2016 I visited Ireland for an english camp. I met a lovely spanish guy; his name is Sergio and he is living in Segovia. Every year we were visiting each other for at least one week. He showed me his region and I’m also invited him to get to know my hometown. We developed a great friendship, although we live several hundred kilometres apart from eachother.
