About Me

Hello There,
My name is Hannes. I´m studying media economy at the university of media in Stuttgart, Germany. I grew up in a little village in the Black Forest. After my graduation I did a one year voluntary in Bolivia in a small village near Cochabamba I worked there halfday as a teacher and the rest of the time I helped the local Culuture Center with my working skills. In this year I fell in live with south american culture and knew I would come back one day! Then i started studying in germany I study media management because I like the work with the different media and I also did a healf year internship in an advertisement agency. Currently I´m doing an exchange semester in Santiago de Chile and it immediatley reminded me of my time in Bolivia, of course Chile is a different country and Santiago is a 8 million citizen city, but the south american culture with dancing and enjoying the life is the same. After the end of the semester I have almost 3 months to travel across this amazing continent and I really look forward to getting to know new exciting people and places. It would be a pleasure If you´d like to host me and if we could have some interesting talks and a nice time!

To meet a lot of new friends and getting to know the local culture. Couchsurfing is such an amazing experience because the people are so open minded and easy going. Couchsurfing never dissapointed me.

I also like hanging out with friends and partying with them. I recently started to try out some photography and filming, I also like to cut films but it needs more time and experience, but i try!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to Electronic Music like House, Deephouse and others.
I personally don't dislike any kind of music and I´m always open for some new cool musicians. I think there is always the right time for any type of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Biggest adventure was my one year stay in Bolivia where i worked as a volunteer in a very small village and the distance to the next big city was a horrible 7 hour-bus-trip . But I fell in love with Bolivia, its people and their open attitude. And as soon as possible I will return.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my language skills in German, English and Spanish and a lot of jokes !
I would like to learn the culture of new countries.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A Lot of good storys about my life and thoughts. And of course traditional German cooking, cause if you like Spätzle I´m the right man! As i grew up in the south of Germany i mastered the art of preparing Spätzle to its perfection and I´ll show you how good they taste handmade.
