关于我
I was born in Hannover, a big city in Germany, but moved to the Baltic Sea coast as a young boy when my father decided to start his own business. Unfortunately, after the business went bankrupt, we moved back to Hannover, and my parents divorced when I was seven. Life became a bit chaotic after that, with frequent moves and school changes, which meant constantly adapting and making new friends.
I stayed in Hannover through high school and then moved back to the Baltic Sea area for university, where I studied Business Economics. My years there were incredible, thanks to the amazing people I met—some of whom remain lifelong friends. During my studies, I worked several jobs: first at a small tax firm in Stralsund, then with KPMG in Berlin (where my father lives), and later at a regional consultancy, seeking a less stressful environment in my final semesters. After finishing my degree, I moved back in with my mom in December to complete my thesis.
In my free time, I’ve developed a love for running, golfing, DJing at student parties, and cooking/BBQ. Additionally, I enjoy drawing (especially graffiti and other creative projects my friends need) and trekking—exploring new places, if you will. I’m an easygoing, cheerful person who values meaningful conversations and genuine connections. Growing up, I learned how important it is to be honest, authentic, and genuinely interested in others—qualities that I continue to carry with me today.
This trip to the U.S. is a chance to deepen those connections, explore new places, and hear the incredible stories people have to share.
I can’t wait to meet you and hear *your* story. Much love! 😊
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I’m couchsurfing to meet new people, create meaningful connections, and exchange stories and experiences. For me, it’s not just about finding a place to stay, but about connecting with others, learning from their perspectives, and sharing a part of my own journey. I’d love to spend time with my host—whether it’s going out, exploring the area together, or just hanging out—but I also completely understand if you’d prefer some peace and quiet. Either way, I’ll be out and about during the day, making the most of my travels, and I’m happy to adapt to your expectations.

音乐、电影和书籍
I have a deep appreciation for electronic music, especially house, groove, and techno, as I used to DJ at house parties, focusing mainly on techno and trance. That said, I like to mix things up since electronic music can sometimes feel repetitive or doesn’t always suit the mood. I also enjoy U.S. rap, particularly East Coast tracks from the '80s and '90s, as well as German rap. Additionally, I have a soft spot for certain jazz genres and occasionally find myself enjoying songs that don’t fit neatly into any category.
When it comes to TV shows and movies, I’m a big fan of cinematic storytelling with complex narratives. Some of my favorites include "Interstellar", "The Irishman", "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", "Inception", "Better Call Saul/Breaking Bad", and "Rick and Morty"—yes, I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to these! On the other hand, Marvel movies aren’t really my thing.
I also enjoy reading, though I lean more toward philosophy and biographies rather than novels or fiction. Recently, I’ve read "Can’t Hurt Me" by David Goggins. Right now, I’m working through "Thinking, Fast and Slow" by Daniel Kahneman and looking for the perfect book on Stoic philosophy to take with me on my journey.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
This past December, I went on an unforgettable adventure with my brother, who serves in the German Army (and is incredibly fit as a result!). We traveled to Madeira and went hiking together. For the first time in my life, I covered over 12 miles with 6,500 feet of elevation gain in less than two days—all while carrying a 35-pound backpack and camping on the mountain. It was an experience I’ll cherish forever and one that gave me a real sense of pride. I’m so grateful to have shared that journey with my brother—I love him and the fact that we accomplished it together!
教,学,和分享
I’m always eager to learn—whether it’s about your culture, your favorite hobbies, or a skill you’re passionate about. I’m particularly curious about local traditions, music, and food, as they offer such unique insights into a place and its people.
我可以与沙发主分享些什么
If you’re curious, I can set the tone for a fun evening with music or, if you’re interested, dive into discussions about finance—something I’ve been deeply involved in for over five years and am always happy to share insights on. I’m also glad to lend a hand around the house, whether it’s doing the dishes, tidying up, or helping out with whatever tasks are on the go. Let me know how I can best contribute to your space!
