Hello there!
I am Hannes, an average guy from Germany. I enjoy traveling ever since I went abroad on my own for the first time when I was 16 and have lived in Europe, New Zealand, Bolivia, Mexico and Canada and travelled several other countries since then.

Apparently I only write the corresponding stories in German, when I set this up I actually did not expect it to be going for more than a year (its almost eight now...) so I didn't think that people outside of Germany might find it interesting.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

The first time I couchsurfed with a friend and I was welcomed so warmly in San Antonio (thanks Joedy!) that I decided to surf as well and meet more people! I really got a perfect introduction to couchsurfing and had cool experiences with surfers in Mexico and in the US.
