Hi, my name is Hannes. I'm 31 years old, born and grown up in Sweden.
I like to play music, cook and read. And I have an interest in environmental issues and sustainability.
I'm also vegetarian and I try to live my life as good as I can with regards to the planet and future generations.

I recently moved to a collective in the countryside of Stora Skedvi in southern Dalarna. You are warmly welcome to stay at our couch if you happen to pass by!

I look at myself as a social person who is most comfortable with a bunch of good friends around me. But of course I also like meeting new people and learning about their background and culture. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosting some great people, and met up with other travellers for a cup of coffee or a walk through town. It has been really great and it's such an amazing opportunity to meet new people to learn from, teach to, laugh and have fun with. :)
I've hosted more than I have surfed, but I hope I will get the chance to surf more when I'm out travelling again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I remember Hubert from Holland. He was my first couchsurfer and that was really great! We had long discussions about culture and environment. Nick from the USA was also a really nice guy, and he showed me all the places he had been to in the world on his laptop! :)
Then there was Patrick and Benjamin, two brothers from Austria, and Christine with her friend and Samuel from Germany who surfed with me in autumn of 2010. All of them great people, easy going and interesting to get to know! :)

Música, películas y libros

I love most music. The span ranges from reggae and folk to pop and electronic. Bands that I listen to right now are The Tallest man on Earth, Mumford & Sons, Fleet Foxes and the Lumineers.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I think what tops my list of amazing travel memories are snorkeling in a coral reef on a small island just by the coast of Zanzibar. It was magical - the most beautiful scene I have ever seen.

The waterfalls Cascade d' Ouzoud in Morocco may come on second place. They are the mightiest waterfalls I have ever seen!

I also remember very well the feeling when stepping inside the church of Saint Peter in Rome. A massive experience!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can teach you some swedish and about the swedish culture. I can also teach you how to play the guitar somewhat. If you insist, I might also teach you how to dance lindy hop. :)

I would really like to learn playing a new, foreign instrument! Also, learning and practicing other languages is always welcome. Preferably spanish or german. Or teach me how to make your favourite vego dish or a new way of cooking something green.

Anything goes! I'm curious and interested in most things. :)
