I'm a PhD student in Theoretical Chemistry - which is much more fun than it sounds like - in my late 20s. I'd consider myself an easy-going and rather quiet person, who usually gets along with most kind of people. I'm doing my best to always stay positive and most of the time I have some random song on my mind - which is fun most of the time but can also be quite a pain in the arse when you're try to focus on something. And beware: My tunes are really catchy if not contagious.

Interests

I just love to explor our wonderful world. There's so much on my bucket list that I probably couldn't finish in several years of traveling. I'm planning on doing a world trip after I finished my PhD and I'm really looking forward to it. Let me know if you've got any suggestions on must-sees

Other than traveling, I like to make or listen to music. I'm a drummer and timpanist in several orchestras and I'm currently trying to teach myself some tunes on the piano - with some disputable results. Besides, I also go dancing Rock'n'roll and Salsa frequently.

I'm not much of a party animal but from time to time I also enjoy a night out clubbing. Other than that I'm always up for a beer in a pub/bar or cooking a great meal together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and I enjoy almost any genre from classical over jazz and techno to folk music. If I find the time I also like reading books, mostly SciFi but also Thrillers etc. My favorite is still The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Universe.
