Overview
About Me
I am a snowboard instructor at Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico, USA and am also about to start building Earthships, which are sustainable off-grid homes built out of recycled and earth material. I love to be outside as much as possible, often snowboarding, mountain biking, or identifying plants.
I have also recently worked as a wilderness therapy guide, in addition to my partner, Hanna, who is traveling with me. We love to make new friends and spend time getting to know the places we visit. In fact, we both volunteered for the same workaway host in Nepal before we met each other!
Some other passions of mine include making electronic music, playing chess, swimming, and playing guitar and piano. My dream is to create an ecovillage of Earthships centered around spirituality, sustainable living, and education.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with people around the world, getting to know their perspectives and learning from all that I encounter, both by hosting and visiting.
I would be more than happy to share with you some wilderness skills, songs, meals, chess strategies, snowboarding tips, and whatever else I can offer.
Hanna and I are traveling in Europe for a month in April and May. We are meeting up with her family in Barcelona and venturing onwards through Andorra, France, Italy, Croatia, and Serbia until finally returning to the states. We look forward to meeting people who can share their local perspective.
