About Me

Live in Hong Kong. Currently studying in Utrecht, Netherlands as an exchange student.

Most of the time I like to read and write about what I think. But ideas don't come out of thin air, even imagination needs experience. At some point I found myself inexperienced, and lack of imagination. So I decided to go on the road.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I imagined that travelling is a luxurious thing to do when I was young, and in fact it is, if I travel like a rich man. However, I tried to think the other way around, what if I travel like a meek and humble man? Someone introduced me to Couchsurfing when I started my exchange studies last October. So here I am!

Interests

Vast interests like a desolated desert where sometimes I exhaust and thirst myself as I explore the unknown. Generally speaking, novels, history, jazz, rock and roll, modernism and post-, football, swimming, movies, guitar, cooking .. how many things can I do and do it good in a day?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Overslept and almost missed a flight, packed my bag for 11 days within 5 minutes and ran to the train station, and eventually I caught my flight. It sounds boring, but if you want to feel amazing, try to oversleep and almost miss your flight and eventually getting on it successfully.

Teach, Learn, Share

If someone is interested, I would like to share what I've been thinking and reading. But to teach, I don't think I have the authority. Learning is a great experience though, if I am not forced to do it (which is most of the cases), currently learning how to be a good person and speak French.
