About Me
Hello! My name is Hans, I'm half german, half Argentinian, but I was born and raised in Costa Rica. Currently studying environmental health at the University of Costa Rica. If you are planning to visit Costa Rica and you need information or help feel free to ask me.
I'm an easy going, motivated and enthusiatic guy, that loves art, culture and soccer. I find Couchsurfing as an opportunity to meet knew people and have an authentic cultural exchange in the process. I would love to share my culture with you!!

I believe that thing about a country is its people, and for me Couchsurfing is a perfect opportunity to meet people around the world. Hope I can help other travellers in Costa Rica (I can't host anyone right now).

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: The Beatles (my favorite band), Radiohead, The Clash, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beach Boys, The Doors, etc... (Classic Rock FTW!)
Movies: I love movies (hope to finish my first short film this year!), my favorite filmmakers are Stanley Kubrick, Federico Fellini and Andrei Tarkovsky. My favorite films are: 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Spirit of the Beehive.
Books: I like history books and graphic novels overall! I also enjoy Don Quijote and García Marquez books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Volunteer at TECHO, building streets and houses to some of the poorest comunities in Costa Rica.
TECHO is a latinamerican NGO that tries to help poor comunities all over Latinamerica to give its inhabitants a better life!
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: about my culture and traditions (not only from Costa Rica but from Argentina and Peru as well), I can give you information if you're planning to visit Costa Rica in the future.
Learn: I want to learn not only about you're country, but about you! Get a real cultural exchange!Hopefully I'll come back to my country with new friends :D
