ABOUT ME

My name is Dorien, I'm a 31 years old teacher, born, raised and living in Olen, Belgium.

I can say I`m pretty relaxed and easy going; friendly, comunicative, full of energy and like to help others in every way I can.

If you ask me what is my greatest passion, I won't think twice, I'll say: travelling! For me, there is no comparison when we're about to face an unknown place, an unknown culture, and all the different people on it.

From every place I've been, what always made it magical and unique, were the lovely people I've found there. People who made a difference in my life and who were an inspiration for me!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

- Belem (Brazil): the first and unexpected one! We met Eduardo on the road when we (me and my boyfriend) were walking around with our backpacks, looking for a hostel. He picked us up and invited us in his house. How lovely can people be!!!!
- San Cristobal de las casas: nice Mexican-Swedisch couple who invited us in their home and where we had a great time with them.
- Merida (Mexico): in a families house. Ideal to live the real Mexican life!
- Cologne: friendly couple with 2 years old daughter: we met them in Kroatia and they invited us to their house in Koln.
