ABOUT ME

>Media: I am working on documentary and travel photography, a passion which has started to grow during my journey to southern Africa. I am currently expanding my skills by diving into the techniques of video production. Moreover, I am also working on web and online production so that the photo and video content I create can be published. If you have an interest in these topics, we can certainly benefit from an exchange. In my professional life I work in digital media production for a TV station.

>Cycling: I enjoy riding long distances on the back of my touring bicycle. Sometimes I also like to go fast and sportive, so I take my road bicycle to do sports. I am keen doing some trans-alpine mountain cycling in the Alps, so in general, anyone interested in cycling is more than welcome to talk on this fantastic subject.

> Cooking: A slight obsession with any kind of oriental, vietnamese and thai food, since I went to Thailand and Laos for two months. In this time I have taken cooking classes, which has allowed me to develop an understand of the principles of Asian cuisine. Do you want to taste a green curry with baby aubergine and fresh thai basil?

Not to forget I very much like c*o*f*f*e*e - brewed in all of its forms: the Italian way, the French press, Vietnames drip coffee or the classic German Milchkaffee.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in spontaneous and regular CS meetings. CS is the internet platform that has brought me together with people I otherwise would never have met. I is repeatedly an experience to meet people who have a story to tell and a moment to share.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is a real benefit for my personal life , for me when I was travelling and when I was new to a city. I feel that CS creats a open, a better world accessible to people across political and ethnical boundaries.

My favourite movie is "Everything is illuminated" a really lovely shot film dealing with the cultural differences between an amercian guest and his ukrainian hosts. The music of that film is a great too!
