ABOUT ME

I can honestly say that I have true friends ranging in age between eight and eighty-something. Male, female, inbetweens, coming from several cultures, and having very different tastes. I expect people to respect. My only intolerance is with "zero-tolerance". I do not judge people quickly, nor do I like to be judged quickly...

PHILOSOPHY

I love blending in different tribes, as long as I do not have to belong to them. I do not like people to overly interfere with me, I don´t interfere with them either. Live and let´s live and appreciate the differences, that is what I say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch surfing feels somehow as a revival of the seventies, when we hitch-hiked through Europe and laid down our sleeping bag in anyplace.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Apart from the seventies?... Well, I started hosting after my divorce ten years ago. I like to receive although I am not the best host in the "tourguide" sense. I like guests to feel at home and feel free. That´s what I also like when being a guest myself.

音乐、电影和书籍

Movies: Almodovar, Woody Allen, the first that impressed me was "One flew over the coockooks nest" in 1974, and the list has never stopped growing.
Music: Sometimes stuff that rattles the bones, sometimes stuff that helps to relax - I have VERY different playlists for different occasions.
Books: Nearly the same. But I prefer biographies or history books, or short stories. Also art reviews, photography, and so on

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been a sailorman, an Au Pair, a truck-mechanic, a tourist-guide. All of these "not so serious" jobs provided me with more learning than the so-called "serious" ones.
