ABOUT ME

I look kind of serious and a little quiet at the first glimpse. In fact,after chatting a while, people may find that I am an easygoing and social person because I enjoy interacting with people who would like to talk to me instaed of turning me down. Besides, most pepple think that I am resposible and indpendent compared to those at the same age because I deal with things in details and care about other people's feelings.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new for this.
But I very expect the opportunity to couchsurf. Through this, besides culture exchange and understanding about local life, I even could have board games or a nice talk with hosts. It seems that there will many impressive things worth a try.

Interests

1. do exercise like jogging and basketball
2. read various books like finance, photography
3. travel

As a graduate student now, I conduct experiments and do some researches in the lab in daytime. At night, after doing some exercise or reading books, I surf the website on internet about English learning, like TED, CNN, and Scientific American. These websites not only provied me opportunity to improve my English but also let me learn something new.

Music, Movies, and Books

1. The movies I like are "Click"、"The Prestige"、"Kickass"、"3 idiots"、"Shutter Island",
Compared to movies, I like the TV series more, like "Friends"、"PrisonBreak"、"The Big Bang Theory"、"Chuck" and so on
2、If I was in a good mood, I like to listen to high tempo; on the contrary, if I was in a bad mood, I would prefer emotionlal ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two things are unforgettabe experiences for me:
First,when I was junior in college, I climled the Mt. Chilai , which is Top 100 Peaks of Taiwan and it is said that lots of mountain accidents happened in the past. For me, everything in the mountains was fresh; for examole, I could move my head up and see a lot of shining stars in the sky and it was my first time to build a tent and cook in the mountains. Furthermore, some fo the roads we climbed were filled with muds and stones, sometimes we even had to find some ways to go by ourselves. The most exciting thing was that I arrived at the top of the mountain and I got pictures with my teammates after walking near the cliff with heavy bags (On half way to top, I even got a cramp). No matter how tired it was, I enjoyed every part in the climb.

Second, elected as president of graduation union affects me a lot. I had to lead over 50 people to hold the yearbook, ball games, prom and so on. In these activities, I enjoyed interacting with people because we could share tears and happiness with each other.

To sum up, I learn a lot from interacting with people and travelling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
Most important of all, I hope I will play some "Board games" with hosts, like "Saboteur" or "Dominion". Besides, I hope I cook soom food from Taiwan if hosts don't mind whether it is delicious or not XD. Finally, I am a graduate school in Taiwan, so we can discuss on "Material Science" or "Chinese"

Learn:
In the foreign countries, I don't want to live in hotels and have fastfood only. I expect a deeper understanding on local life style and custom、cooking etc.
