"Hi! I'm Haoran, currently a Master's student at RWTH Aachen University in Germany.

I'm an outgoing person with many hobbies and I genuinely love communicating with people from different backgrounds. My primary language is English.

I'm a design major, so I'm passionate about all things design-related—painting, handicrafts, you name it. (I've actually put some of my work on my page, feel free to check them out! :0) When I'm traveling, I always enjoy drawing some quick sketches to give to my new friends or hosts as a little gift.

Another thing about me: I'm absolutely obsessed with swimming. If there’s a place with a fantastic swimming spot, I might seriously consider pausing my trip just to dive in!

I love connecting with people during my travels and taking on small design commissions along the way. For instance, I’ve designed menus for coffee shop owners in exchange for some coffee beans, or created posters and illustrations for local bars. Most of the time, I do it just for the fun of it and the unique stories that come with it! Oh, and I also have a background in gardening and architectural design, of course~

I love the idea of a skill exchange. I’m happy to offer lessons in Chinese, sketching, or swimming. If you're interested in the digital side, I can even help you out with Photoshop or Python! LOL.

As I mentioned, I’m a sunny and cheerful person, and I’ll definitely bring some joy to your home! I’d be more than happy to do some sketches or design work for you if you'd like. Also, I’m a pretty good cook—I can whip up some authentic Chinese or Japanese dishes.
