Hey! My name is Justin and I'm a touring musician from Chapel Hill, NC. My main band is an indie pop-rock group called Happy Abandon ( you can check us out at www.happyabandonmusic.com if you like!) My bandmates, Jake and Peter, are my best friends and we often travel together, whether we're playing a show or not. Our favorite thing to do is to meet people, play music, and travel. I guess you could say we picked the right field! We love to play board games, sit by campfires and firepits, and talk late into the night, or just hit the hay and fall asleep ASAP! We're a good bunch.

We're on couchsurfing because often, when we're on the road, we're playing places all over the country that we've never been to before and thus we don't always have a guaranteed place to stay. We're hoping to meet people who'd be willing to help the three of us have a safe place to sleep for the night as we continue our journeys so we don't have to use precious gas funds on last-minute hotel rooms and Airbnb's. The three of us are very polite, clean, quiet, and respectful. Thanks so much for helping us!

We love all sorts of stuff. Our favorite music includes Sigur Ros, Alt J, Fleet Foxes, Sufjan Stevens, The National, Andrew Bird, Pinegrove, Ball Park Music, Sharon Van Etten, Courtney Barnett, Queen, Jeff Buckley, and so much more. We're big fans of Wes Anderson, Chrisopher Nolan, and Quentin Tarantino movies, among others. And our favorite TV shows include Rick and Morty, Futurama, and Game of Thrones. Too many books to list :)

In 2017 alone, we've toured the Northeast Three times, did an amazing tour of Ireland, the UK, and the Netherlands, and a huge West Coast Tour! We also put out our first album a month ago. It's nuts!
