To travel in South America

ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old Lithuanian who travels in South America at the moment. I was living in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia for four months. Recently, I decided to challenge myself and travel a little bit more. This time I will travel by bus from Colombia to Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. It will be very challenging trip as I am alone, but I am willing to meet nice people and make new friends. It would be very nice if someone show me around the city and tell me more about the local people life and themselves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well at the moment I am travelling and looking for a place in the world myself. Thus when I will find it I would like to give back. That's what all this couch surfing project is all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started to use couch surfing during my trip in South America. And I really had an amazing time with local people and local drinks and parties :)

Interests

I am interested in various occupation, age or education people. The most important thing to me is to feel the cultural difference and similarities. It is very exciting when local people advises to experience the local things which are not in the guidebook.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a big preference for music or movies. I watch it all. However, one of my favourite artists would be patricia kaas, lady gaga, adele. I do respect the singer's who can perform live as good as they sound in the record. Regarding movies, I really like Meryl Streep as an actress. She is versatile professional who can handle lots of characters from comedy to drama. Regarding books, I like John Irving especially his first books as 'A widow for one year' and 'The world according to Garp' and 'The fourth hand'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing trip I had is the one which still continues - experience in South America. This is the experience, adventures and people I will never forget. I hope to meet more nice people who can help me make it even more exciting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I do not speak Spanish very fluently, but I was taking classes in University of Colombia for two months. Thus, for me it would be nice to improve my Spanish knowledge.

Yo no hablo español muy bueno, pero yo estaba aprendiendo español en universidad nacional de Colombia para dos mes. Y yo espero mejorar mis conocimientos de idiomas :)
