ABOUT ME

I'm 24 years old living in Berkeley California. I graduated from UC Berkeley about a year ago and since then I've been bartending/serving/managing at a chain Italian restaurant and loving it!I have dreams of one day opening my own bar.
I'm very open minded and very easy going. I'll try almost anything once. Really I'm just out to have a good time whether it's hiking a beautiful trail, clubbing in the city, or just having a cup of coffee and a really good conversation. I'm interested in traveling all around the world and always open to learning new things.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to sit around and be stuck doing something that you don't enjoy. Another day is never guaranteed so I try not to waste any time on regrets. I love being around people. I majored in anthropology because I believe that humans are the most interesting living beings on this planet and I jump at the chance to learn more about other people and their culture everyday. Being social makes me happy.

Movies: I love all kinds of movies. Some of my favorites are Gladiator, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Fountain, French Kiss, Finding Nemo, Moulin Rouge, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Sound of Music, The Usual Suspects, The Boondock Saints, Closer
Music: I will listen to anything. I usually have hip/hop playing because I like to dance and anything with a beat helps me do chores around the house. Some current favorite music: Kings of Leon, Paramore, Keane, Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend
Books: I really wish I had more time to read. I have bookshelves full of books I want to read but no time to read them. Favorites: 100 Years of Solitude (anything Gabriel Garcia Marquez really); Blink by Malcolm Gladwell; Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal by Christopher Moore; Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury; Little Children by Tom Perrotta; most of the Harry Potter books; The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My senior year of high school my choir traveled to Italy to participate in an International competition and we placed 5th out of 35 choirs in the world! We also just traveled all around Italy singing for churches, schools and communities, it was one of the most enjoyable and meaningful experiences of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to consider myself a mixologist. I enjoy mixing delicious drinks for people to enjoy. I can teach people how to make an excellent martini!
