ABOUT ME

My name is Chrissy and I'm living the dream of being a starving artist. Writing is what I love and being full of life, on and off of paper, is what I do. I love to play, am extremely laid back, and believe that people are generally good. Having spent 8 years in the Marine Corps, I've learned that many things in life are not worth stressing out. Having said that, I'm relaxed, easy to get along with, and look forward to a life full of adventure interspersed with doses of calm.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to have fun, just like anyone else, and I have my different speeds just like anyone else. For the most part, I like to be moving and grooving-surfing, snowboarding, climbing, hiking, lifting, you name it. But I also like to chill with friends, kick back at home, yoga it up, and take it easy. Balance is extremely important to me and learning is muy importante as well. Life has been hilarious so far, and I can honestly say that I hope it continues in all of it's glorious hilarity. The universe knows what my threshold for pain is, and It's done a great job helping me to exercise and increase it. The hard times are the fun times, just like the easy times are the fun times. Whatever kind of time it is for you, just know that it's the time of your life. The most important thing you can do with the situation that you are currently in, next to learning and growing from it, is to make sure that you are reacting well to it. Events don't make you a certain way or make you do certain things. You get to pick how you are and how you react. If you get that, I would say you're doing pretty dang good.

Intereses

Making pancakes!! No really, I make killer pancakes. I also like to play in the pool, play at the beach, drink protein shakes, and hold lemonade stands. I've hiked all sorts of places, and I love anything that gets me out and about, along with anything that gives me an excuse to just chill at home or just chill with a few good friends. My absolute favorite things to do are lift weights, surf, snowboard, and go to Pad's games...or any live sporting event that gives me an excuse to get rowdy. I like puppies, too.
