About Me

I plan to live life to the fullest I am excited to see what our planet has to offer I am from pretty much the smack dab center of Canada

I will be in Winnipeg Manitoba for the summer working... Doing my residential property maintenance come December 1st once the city freezes over I will say my farewells and I'll be driving back out to Vancouver Island to pick up my surfboards I will most likely end up in and around Tofino BC for a few months doing some winter surfing before I make my way up north on the mainland heading up to Alaska of course surfing some epic spots along the way after I freeze my buns off and it gets too cold for myself I'm going to turn around and follow the Rocky Mountains all the way down to California, hitting up San Francisco Los Angeles and San Diego before dipping into Mexico for a little bit before driving east across America to Miami following the Atlantic Ocean to New York City where from there I'm going to head to Nova Scotia as I hear you can get pretty good swell 🏄 out there hop a ferry to Newfoundland drive up north to Newfoundland and Labrador as far as the roads go before driving back East through northeren Canada back to Winnipeg surfing 🏄 every beach in & along the Atlantic and Pacific Coastline of North America mountain climbing hiking and doing as much exploring as possibly wild camping and Couchsurfing prospecting for gemstones in the mountains and desert fishing in rivers and lakes and best of all ocean fishing and living off the land as much as possible & who knows what else along the way ;)

I enjoy living a active life and always trying new things learning new skills never stoping and always growing this is part of the reason why I have truly fallen in love with the West Coast it is absolutely endless out here the opportunities of exploration are absolutely spectacular and breathtaking

I enjoy going for late night longboarding here in Winnipeg because we are totally landlocked unless you want to go for a 3 hour drive to the whiteshell which is totally worth it if you have a whole day to spare

I also practice yin and Ashtanga Yoga

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The reason why I am on Couchsurfing is so that I can link up, make new friendships and hang out with Like-Minded-Locals also to be hosted which I have yet to be I have hosted but I have yet to surf on this application and I am excited to find my first host so I can save on costs because accommodations and build my references for my European travels I would also like to stay with locals so I can truly experience your town how it is meant to be seeing not from some fancy Reservoir or some high-end tour guide I personally do not agree with these corporations and businesses coming into these beautiful spaces and bringing in flocks of people running their equipment on fossil fuels in spaces that should be kept secret or not so accessible to get to and if you actually wanted to experience it you're going to have to put in some time & effort & not just pay someone to take you there

Also how awesome is it to surf the globe using Couchsurfing ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music just depending on my mood

I do not read as much as I should but I am consciously trying to read more on a regular basis I am more of a Hands-On kind of guy but it is absolutely abundant the information you can learn from books when you were travel I find the internet can be a tad bit skewed and I prefer to pick up a local travel book A lot of the times they have trails and unique things to see that would have never known about if you did not pick up the book and read it 80% of the time they are free which is the best way to travel

For movies I personally enjoy watching documentaries which I don't know if you would consider documentaries a movie but for movies a good old comedy, action, thrillers or Sci-Fi is all good for me but to be honest doesn't really matter to me I am not a picky person and don't watch much I don't even own a Tv lol just my laptop

my favorite artist for a while now has been nahko bear & medicine for the people if you have the chance definitely look him up on YouTube as well as have quite been enjoying Michael Colin fingers lately. Oh and the other day I recently watched the documentary of Michael Jackson's final tour it was absolutely beautiful and I forgot how good his music was I would like to go to a used CD shop and purchase some of his CDs to listen in my work van https://youtu.be/wa-ek_HcqEQ

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created a successful business that provides for my family at the age of 24

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach learn share I guess you could consider myself a teacher I teach my son every single day and I'm always teaching myself new things but I personally consider myself a student of life there is always something new and exciting to learn live and share

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you an amazing meal with your local produce also helping ensure that the place stays neat and tidy I like to live in a clean and organized home

I am also very handy if there is a small job around the house I can help take care of it the only thing is I won't have my tools with me and ideally I am traveling to get away from work but if it's a small minor job that won't take all day/week I will gladly lend a helping hand to complete the task

We could share a happy and joyful moment together that we can remember for the rest of our life (sounds super corny just thought of toss it in there)
