About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live for the moment, spontaneity rules

ABOUT ME

Hmmm too much to say all at once, so I'll try to condense: I am outgoing, funny, sarcastic, and curious about life. I love to meet people from different cultures and countries, and to share my knowledge and passions with those around me. I was born in Dresden and studied in Halle.

PHILOSOPHY

We are all equal, and all equally in charge of caring for each other. Also, 'We do not own the Earth; rather, we are merely borrowing it from our children.'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined Couch Surfing in March. When I am settled into my new apartment, I'd really like to start hosting travelers to expand my world view and appreciation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None to speak of, although I recently met a Surfer from America who inspired me to join. I met him quite randomly in a carpool back to my hometown, and he had only incredible, positive experiences to share about Couch Surfing and the CS community.

Interests

Psychology, Johnny Depp, my little dog, walking in the woods, meditation, the feeling my Audi give me when she accelerates.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Inception, American History X, ziemlich beste Freunde, the 9 gates, P.S. I love you!
Books: Black Dagger - Series, Siddhartha, Sarah, der träumende Delphin
Music: Raised Fist, Wolfsheim, Paul Kalkbrenner, Paramore, Hans Zimmer, Vivaldi

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My Civil Service in Tunisia, basically my second home! Such wonderful people, food, culture - a completely different world than I was used to. Being a long-haired blonde in such a country was, um, interesting, to say the least, I was apparently very popular :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give a very personal, guided tour of Dresden, as I have a very deep, close connection to the beautiful city. Ask me if you'd like to know what it is :)
I really would like to improve my arabic.
