Wow, I'm kind of interested in everything, but that's not very useful here, is it?

I am a writer. I read and write a lot. I write fiction and art criticism, so I guess I can say that I have a professional interest in both. Literature, visual art, theater, film, music, politics (left), current events. Maybe I could just shorten this to say that I am interested in culture, in all things human--both professionally and passionately. I get paid to do this stuff, which is pretty awesome!

I ride a motorcycle and a bicycle, usually too fast.

I like intoxicants, but I am not as wild as I used to be. I am a fun drunk. I am an ambitious stoner. I think I've got this balance figured out, for now.
