All about me? I love conkers, did you know they keep spiders away? I love sunshine on a cold day, sometimes I like getting lost when I am following a map, but only when I am on my own :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to Couchsurfing as I have been moving around for more than a year...hoping to settle soon in one place so I can host some lovely people

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have found a few times now that people don´t give a full address. I tend to tentatively try the apartment block, one neighbour at a time ;-)

In 2014 I have surfed in Portugal, Spain and England.

I love food! Growing, shopping, cooking and of course eating.

I love walking, inevitably getting lost and stumbling across new places

I love arts and culture and studied photography. I work in the sector but not at the moment...I am currently a mature student at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. My subject is a Masters in Museum Studies.

Needless to say I love travelling :-)

Movies! My favourite....hmmm, classics, sci-fi, fantasy and comedy. Lars Von Triar, Ron Howard, Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo del Toro, Wes Anderson

Music - its all a mixed bag for me. I like the old tinny sound of a record on a grammaphone. I love the Arctic Monkeys with their Yorkshire accents. Some Nina Simone, The Smiths. Specific songs and how they make me feel rather than musicians.

Books! I don´t often get a chance to read, I like Russican classics such as Dostoyevsky and Dombrovsky. One of my favourites is An Invitation to a Beheading by Nabokov. I am always waiting for the next new book by the Spanish author - Carlos Ruiz Zafón!
