ABOUT ME

I´m a funny, friendly and outgoing person, I´m communicative and enjoy meeting people, but also good in doing my own thing. I´m reliable, just a bit slow sometimes. When travelling, I don´t like doing all the touristy things but prefer getting a better insight by going to places where locals go and do things that are special about the area.

PHILOSOPHY

The pessimist only sees the problems, the optimist is seeing the opportunities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I´ve been pretty busy and often away, I´ve only been hosted and not been a host myself so far, but I´m looking foward to invite people to my place, once I´m back again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lot of amazing people on my trip from Stockholm to Inari and back down to Helsinki. Now I´m going to China, so hopefully there´s going to be some more.

Interests

I like art and design, doing sports like football, skating and beachvolleyball. I like being outside enjoying air and landscape. I like dancing at night and having a beer with my friends. But I also like sitting in the corner, enjoying the atmosphere, the music, lights and sounds. I like to think about how we can the world a bit better, but I like doing more then talking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For this year, I went to the Island of Romo, where I went swimming at 5° and freezing cold wind.
In August, I went with RIDE FAST DIE OLD- bicycleteam from Bremen to Copenhagen by Bike, which made me be aware of the distance between the two cities and not feeling like i bumped into a place without experiencing the way there. Riding fast and far was in a way spiritual as well, as one´s only focussing on his own body, power and bike. Plus we also had some amazing views.

Teach, Learn, Share

I´m pretty good in screen-printing, have been working as a tutor at my university for quite a while. Also, I´m very used to sewing, so if you need to have your pants shortened or your dress a bit tighter, feel free to ask!
