Overview
About Me
For surfers: please read this, at least the first part. I think it's important to know who you're asking to stay with. And please send a couchrequest, not a message, this helps to keep the overview for me.
Also, if you have a last minute request try this group we have for that purpose. A lot of hosts get your message at once: https://www.couchsurfing.com/groups/39432
About me:
Reading my references you could already get a pretty good idea, but here's the rest.
I like a good conversation over a beer or two (or tea). I'm quite energetic at times, and very easygoing and relaxed at others (introvert and extravert modi). Quite sensitive to what mood you're in, and I most likely will want to help out if something's wrong. I like most kinds of music, try me (although most modern pop is lost on me).
I have a sort of Buddhistic view on life, but it's not my religion (it's not a religion at all if you ask me, but that's a discussion for later).
My beliefs: be honest, keep it simple, let time tell, everything that happens is a lesson, to everyone his own path, everybody is a teacher, everything that has a beginning - has an end.
I'm diverse.. I go to festivals. I meditate. I hug a lot. I ride a motorcycle. I practice Reiki and Aikido. I play a bit of electric guitar. I'm polyamorous and LGBTQ.. & kink friendly but won't bother you with it.
If you send me a request, please include the sentence 'I know where my towel is', so I know you've read anything on here. If you name the source of that sentence you get bonus points (without googling of course).
Oh and I have a cat called Skittles. With less limbs than most cats, but if you have an allergy you'll notice that makes no difference in the effect she has on your respiratory system.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For some time I hosted and surfed as much as I could, because I love giving as much positive energy to everyone that I meet as possible. As you can see in the timeline, after that it's been on and off.
Couchsurfing Experience:
Somewhere in 2005 four Italian guys and a girl from the USA stayed for a week in my house. It was a really cool experience, I really enjoyed meeting spontaneous open people and exchanging knowledge.
So when someone introduced CS to me some years later, I couldn't wait to get in. In the meantime I've had a whole lot of good experiences surfing and hosting, and two or three lesser ones. These just also happen, in my experience it's best to just be honest about it.

Interests
Interests? Well you've read it before and you know it's true: getting to know new interesting people.
Apart from that I do a lot to stay healthy, and a lot to help as much people as I can. I've started my own business, where I massage, heal, coach, and facilitate men's circles. See category below.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: don't read much but The Hitchhiker's Guite To The Galaxy series are favorite by far.
Movies: I like the styles of Tarantino, Rodriguez, Kubrick and Ritchie, but haven't seen everything by far.
Music: almost any music that features electric guitars (and some without). More and more electronic stuff, psytrance, goa, drum n bass, other house varieties. At home maybe Daft Punk at one time, Massive Attack the other. But what I listen to the most, almost always has guitars:
Deep Purple, Pantera, Alice in Chains, AC/DC, Alter Bridge, Godsmack, Audioslave, Beastie Boys, Deftones, Dire Straits, Disturbed, Down, Dream Theater, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, K's Choice, Live, Muse, Limp Bizkit, System of a Down, Epica... get the picture?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travelling alone. This gets me connected to nature in beautiful ways every time. I've been hiking for two weeks in Italy, some motorcycling trips.. I've also walked the West Highland Way trail in Scotland (including bonus climb of the Ben Nevis afterwards) twice, with different people, and it was lovely. But being alone in nature just gives me... soul orgasms, you know?
The feeling that your whole being screams out loud YES THIS IS IT! ..
Teach, Learn, Share
I've had enough troubles to deal with in my life, and I'm always eager to share my lessons. That means, if you have an issue I can maybe listen to you, provide a safe space, and give advice if you want it.
Also have had some years experience in photography, cooking, Aikido, motorcycling (and maintenance) and roller derby. Just ask me anything, I'll love it.
