I am an undergrad student at Indian Institute Of Technology , Patna pursuing Mechanical Engineering. I was born and brought up in Amritsar, Punjab but currently residing in Patna until finishing my graduation. I have been a travel enthusiast since childhood following my family's military background and the travel'o'phobia has evolved with time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Relations and memories have no boundaries. Being hosted by someone helps nurture these perfectly. The bond so formed gets imprinted forever and we learn a lot about the local customs which can not be found in any travel guide.
The day we finish traveling and settle down these relations make the flash back much sweeter and sometimes become the reason to go back again.

Thus through this site I seek opportunity to make bond beyond borders...........

Interests

I love to travel places with friends and solo. I have gone on bag-packing trips through out India starting right from Himalayas in north to Indian ocean in south.

Books are my best companions while traveling. I love travel, mythological books and have a large collection which I like to carry.

While going places I indulge in adventure sports and understanding the local culture.

While at home i am just like any normal person, hanging out with friends, FIFA, watching movies.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Three of us were on a trip in Rajasthan(Mount Abu) and we messed up our booking dates in a guest house. We were very politely thrown out of there and due to tight budget we spent whole night wondering near lakes and finally got through the night to witness the best sunrise of my life while walking through the clouds. Rare occasion when night out was worth it!!!!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am quite a jolly person ( being from Punjab) and always have a story or two to share. Indian culture, food ( I know some cooking), language and all there is to know about INDIA.
Also being an IIT mechanical engineer I can help fixing many things and of course any concepts of high school Physics Chem Maths are my hands play.
All in all I am a complete package of Traveler + Engineer and can help in many ways and situations.
