Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Harold — a friendly and open-minded person who loves meeting new people and discovering places around the world.
I'm passionate about football (if there's a match on, I’m probably watching it!) and I also love dancing. I'm a pretty good salsa dancer, and I’m always happy to teach anyone who wants to learn — no experience needed, just good vibes.
I work in the public sector in the Province of Bergamo, where I focus on sustainable mobility and infrastructure planning. I enjoy thinking creatively, improving things, and learning new ideas — both in work and in life.
At home, I live with my two very sweet cats who are used to people and love company. If you like animals, you'll love them.
I enjoy good conversations, sharing stories, cooking together, exploring cities, and learning about different cultures. I believe in respect, curiosity, and the simple joy of connecting with others.
Looking forward to sharing experiences — and maybe a salsa dance!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel is much more meaningful when you connect with the people who live in the place you're visiting. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new friends, share stories, and discover cities from a different point of view — not just as a tourist.
I also enjoy hosting and showing others around my area when I can, helping them experience my community in an authentic way. And yes — sometimes I may look for someone who can take care of my two cats when I travel (they are very friendly and easy-going!).
For me, Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange, kindness, and making genuine connections around the world.
