ABOUT ME

Hello. I am easy-going and well behaving young guy from Finland. I am in my mid 20's and currently a Masters Degree student in University of Turku. I speak English fluently and have a passion to learn to speak Chinese fluently in the future. I did my exchange student program for one year in Michigan, US and that experience changed my life.
Traveling has become an important part of my life and I long for another big trip. There is something special about the people you meet on the journey, they transmit their joy and enthusiasm. Maybe one can not travel for ever, but we can at least bring that spirit closer to our lifes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I have been living in Turku for a while, I know some nice local places of interests, which are harder to come by just by through internet. If I have time during your stay, I'll be happy to show them. If you need assistance in translating Finnish language, I can help you with that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did my first big backpacking trip during '08-'09. At that time I met some wonderful couchsurfers during my journey and got to know a bit about the community. Since then, years have gone by and I have been inactive member of the community due to inability to host because of my 22 sq.meter flat without a couch.
