I am an artist and illustrator from Cambridge UK and I have a one way ticket to Spain with my bike to cycle across the north of Spain and into the north of Portugal. I have been speaking Portuguese for about 18 months and I would like this trip to help me learn and develop much more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm taking a boat from Portsmouth, UK to Santander, Spain to then cycle onwards through the north of Spain, along the Camino de Santiago and into Portugal. I intent to cycle down to Lisbon, but I want to spend some time exploring the beautiful north of the country. The itinerary is very flexible, and I have a one way ticket

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite things to read have to be Harry Potter - I have read in English but now I'm rereading in Portuguese; I'm currently reading some Virginia Woolf and I will read anything by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

In music I love a variety of things, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon, Otis Redding, Nina Simone, Bixiga 70, Lauryn Hill, Frank Ocean, Solange, Manu Chao, Etta James, Ibeyi, First Aid Kit and so many more things, I'm always listening to music.
