I'm 23 years old. I live in Birmingham, UK. I've recently come back from travelling in South America and I'm keen to travel again as soon as I can but this time in Europe and hopefully through couchsurfing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined a few years ago with the vague idea that I'd like to give it a go if I went travelling and that I would like to host people, but I never really got round to doing either while I was studying. I traveled on my own for 6 months in South America. I really liked meeting people who live in the places I was visiting, not just fellow travelers so I decided that next time I went away I should use couch surfing. I want to improve my Spanish, and I'm really interesting in talking to people about their lives, culture and their country. I want to share these things about myself and where I come from with people too. I'm fascinated by politics and heavily involved in social movements in my own country.

Interests

I love drama and theatre, as well as literature and poetry. I enjoy dance music and live music. I cycle a lot and go hiking too. I'm very interested in politics and take part in a lot of campaigning around education, housing and the environment. I speak intermediate French and I'm learning Spanish.

I helped to organise a demonstration for free education in England which 10,000 people attended.
