Came across a friend from England through travbuddy.com in 2000. He recommended this site while I showed him around my home town.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A night on a scooter around Palermo; Went to Mainz alone and met new friends at the party who later travelled to Italy with me; Spent 2 days talking to someone who does not speak English but only Spanish (while i don't); Cliff Jumping in Santorini; Illegal entry to an ancient site in Berguma; I hosted 12 Cs-ers in a month and there lived 5csers at my home at a time; Was interviewed with flatmate and 2 cs-ers by the local newspaper about couchsurfing in 2013; went to Yemen in 2014 and met my travel companion whom i texted thru this site at Qatar Airport; attended Yemeni Wedding and Tunisian Wedding; quitted my job to travel around central & south America, the whole of Turkey thru 2015 Summer to 2016; I have been living and travelling around Iran and learning Farsi for 3 months in 2016; Driving around Sri Lanka covering 1000 miles in 7 days; swimming with Manta rays in Bali; Backpacking with my friend who doesn't speak English :) ; walked from one Monastery to another, covering 15 miles a day in Georgia; did not drink vodka in Russia; Self drove at Kruger National Park; Went to South Africa; Walked at night at Johannesburg; went to india; dived 9 dives at Sabah at a long weekend; witnessed five cheetahs together strolling at Masai Mara; Helicopter ride over Victoria Fall; stayed in hk for three years over covid; road tripping around Lebanon; completed Pamir Highway Road trip (craziest trip); Witnessed the sunset and sunrise of the Himalayas in 2025; travelled to Hunza Valley @Pakistan same year
