ABOUT ME
Hihi~ I'm Harriet, a Chinese Malaysian woman who loves outdoor adventure, travel, photography, arts, and design. Penang Georgetown is where I was born and grew up in my hometown and speak my mother tongue Hokkien fluently. I’m living in Kuala Lumpur as I want to move on with my life to pursue my dreams and achieve my goals.

I enjoy hiking and camping to relax and get creative inspiration when I'm free. Meanwhile, I participated in the DOE (Duke of Edinburgh) awards program as a wilderness training facilitator/instructor. I help and empower young people to support them to take their challenges as they learn new skills, overcome obstacles, and build confidence and resilience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted Kuala Lumpur friends and some surfers in my hometown, Penang, a few times. On the other hand, I also hosted my hometown friends, surfers, and international friends around Kuala Lumpur. 😉

At the moment, my schedule is somewhat tight, and I'm not able to host people around. But I will try to arrange my schedule, especially on weekends when they need my host. However, I still can meet up and hang out instead of hosting. 😀

兴趣

I hike a different kind of hills and mountains. 🥾⛰

I swim in the pool while relaxing and snorkeling in the sea to see amazing fishes and corals. 🐠🐚

I cycle everywhere I go to see an extraordinary scene. 🚲

I travel to explore and learn different kinds of cultures and shoot some fantastic photos. 📸

I watch a meaningful story movie to understand about life, scare myself how horrible it is, laugh at how funny and crazy it is, feel the love when the couple kisses each other, and let the tears out when the scene becomes sorrowful.

I listen to hard rock when I feel I'm a rocker, hear EDM when I think I want to dance, listen to the orchestra when I want to be alone, listen to jazz when I want to chill. 🎶

EVERYTHING except books cos I will fall asleep when I read the books. However, I'm training to read books. 📖🤓 Manga or Comic is my favorite book. 😆

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The first thing that I've done is a full marathon twice, and it's the last. 🤣 Meanwhile, I've also joined hiking activities and hiked various hills and mountains. 😉

The most intensive and extended hiking I've ever done was 100 km for 6 days 5 nights and cycling 95 km in Malaysia. However, I want to challenge myself and motivate myself to be a healthier and empowering mindset!
