I am an American currently living in Le Mans, France, where I'm studying medieval history and French. I am passionate about French culture, literature, and history. I grew up in an immediate family of francophiles and avid world travelers as well as an extended family from different corners of the world. This has molded me into the adventurer I am today.

I love meeting people from other cultures and sharing experiences with them. After all, that is why I travel. I see Couchsurfing as the best way to get to know a local culture.

Intereses

I have been drawing since I was a child and love drawing portraits.
In addition to sketching, I also make lead soldiers and hand paint them.
I am an amateur fencer. I started fencing when I lived in Beziers, France, in 2011/12.
I'm currently studying history in Le Mans, France, and am specifically passionate about the middle ages/Renaissance, the Napoleonic era, and Victorian period.
I'm an avid reader and especially enjoy historical fiction as well as non fiction.
