About Me

Hi! I'm a student from California and I'm currently studying abroad Singapore (NUS)! Really excited to be traveling across Southeast Asia and experiencing new cultures, making friends, and trying out tons of yummy local food. I'm proudly Taiwanese-American and the owner of a soft-coated wheaten terrier named Murphy. :) Passionate about mental wellness. My life mantra: It's ok to not be ok.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've couchsurfed and hosted with my family throughout my childhood and have lots of great memories! Here to make new friends and live and learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: I listen to a lot of indie/alternative pop, but enjoy most genres. Current favorite artists include The Neighbourhood, Lauv, Cautious Clay, Zella Day, and Conan Gray. 90's and early 00's RnB makes me happy too. Grew up on the diva classics.

Favorite TV Shows: New Girl, La casa de papel (Money Heist), The Good Place, Stranger Things, The Voice, any cooking show.

Teach, Learn, Share

I AM A FOODIE!! I am a milk tea enthusiast and can teach you how to make boba (I've worked as a boba barista in the past). I also really enjoy cooking/baking and can share how to make some simple Taiwanese dishes.

I can also teach you how to speak English or Mandarin. Excited to learn new languages myself.
