Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To visit as many places in the world as possible, learn about the history and cultures of those places and make longlasting friends
ABOUT ME
I've been a recreation professional for over 25 years working for major non-profit organizations including Girls Scouts of America, YWCA (Young Womens Christian Association), American Red Cross, Westwind Stewardship Group, as well as private year around kids camp organizations. My primary areas of experience and interests include equestrian programs, outdoor adventure skills, camp staff recruitment and training, and recreation programing. In December of 2010, I decided to take a long hiatus from working and explore the world. Since then I have taken 6 months to hike the entire Appalachian Trail(2181 miles), and visited several areas in the United States area. On November 16th 2011, I'm heading to Australia for 2 months to explore followed by another month in New Zealand. I have a zest for life and meeting new and interesting people from around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to think that my philosophy on life is ever evolving. I am continually learning and trying to understand human nature. I am impressed and inspired as well as dissapointed every day by what I witness, but forever the optimist.
