Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to see Europe in the realist way possible. I want to meet the people, see what's to be seen, talk about life, eat some food, discover, learn and have a good time in the process.
ABOUT ME
Hello world, my name is Harrison. I am a student from the beautiful Charleston, SC in the United States. To tell you a little about myself, I just finished a 21 day study abroad trip with some classmates and will be traveling Europe until I start University in Strasbourg, FR in September.
Until then, I wander, seeing what I can find and hopefully I find some of you!!
PHILOSOPHY
We are all humans, we are here, now. Let's enjoy it together.
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I actually have no couchsurfing experience. I am a huge fan of Airbnb and its concept so a friend of mine told me to try couch surfing. Thus, here I am.
Interessen
I absolutely love music. It is my passion. Music unites us, it breaks down barriers, it makes you vulnerable and connects people through a universal language. The beat. I also love to eat haha, being in europe has been a pleasure because of all the good food, I can also cook a dish or two. I like going out and socializing but sometimes need to just be somewhere and relax.

Musik, Filme und Bücher
I love movies. Big tarantino fan, also love Christopher Nolan. To list a few favorites: Pulp Fiction, every batman movie ever made, Inception, Jumpin' Jack Flash (if you havent seen it, do yourself a favor, get on that), Sneakers, The Rock (michael bay, not the wrestler). Also very into Martin Scorcese.
Music is a pretty long list. I have a wide variety of Djs and bands that I listen to. I love trading and hearing about new stuff, its one of my favorite activities. Here goes nothing: Nicolas Jaar, Derrick May, older STS9, the biscuits, old 80s like Van Halen, David Bowie, AC/DC, east coast rap like Biggie and Ludacris, cup copy, dave tipper, Mum and sons and the list goes on forever.
Books Ive read recently: The tipping point and outliers by Malcolm Gladwell, lots of weird russian nihlism novels for class. I love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter (yes a little bit of a nerd), Love John Perkins and Chuck Palahniuk. Ive just realized I read a lot of non fiction haha
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
Well most recently, I was watching the Netherlands v Costa Rica game in a huge park in Amsterdam with over 500 dutch people. That is a conservative estimate. It came down to PKs and as you might have seen the Netherland pumped in the winning shot. This crowd went absolutely insane. I have never seen an eruption of people like that in my life. That night, I was crowned, honorary dutch.
